In June 1982, PME launched presented “A History of Harmony” program, featuring a cappella arrangements of works by artists from Henry Purcell to Gene Puerling. A tradition was born, and every spring since then, we’ve presented A Cappella Jazz & Pop concerts, which showcase members of the choir in small and large groups performing sophisticated, original arrangements of a wide variety of musical styles. We’ve recorded virtually every J&P concert over the years, and have put together four compilation “Best of J&P” CDs.
